Project at a glance
A hillside cut with two 4′-tall stone-faced block walls, a gravel building pad, and a 24′ × 40′ pole building.
Scope of work
- Excavate the hillside and haul off spoil — a flat 56′ × 28′ gravel pad cut into the slope.
- Set two tiers of 2′×2′×6′ concrete blocks (4′ tall each) with a 6′ bench between tiers, stepped ends into the grade, and peaked concrete caps on every run.
- Install 4″ drain pipe behind each wall, daylighting at the driveway on both sides, wrapped in 2′ of clean gravel and filter fabric.
- Grade side and back slopes at 2:1 to tie the walls into the existing hillside.
- Building pad ready for a 24′ × 40′ × 12′ pole building (shown in the model for planning — building priced separately).
